Bobby Boyce '88

********************************************
Will you be attending the reunion? Yes…and registered!

Where are you living now? Dallas, Texas

Email: bboyce06@yahoo.com

Tell us about your significant other: I met my girlfriend, Amy, through a mutual friend at a 4th of July party last year.

Do you have any kids? No kids at the moment. Would like to have one at some point (with a spouse of course)

Occupation: Financial Services

Where have you lived since LCHS? Upstate NY near Syracuse and in Dallas since 1992.

What would you consider to be your greatest accomplishment? Graduating from the University of North Texas in 1994.

If you could go back and do anything differently, what would it be? Stay at LCHS for my senior year, no matter what it cost my parents! Moving my senior year was a horrible experience!

What is the one thing you know now that you wish you knew then? To realize that time is short and to make the most of the time you have with people because you might not see them again for another 20 years or more since we all went to opposite sides of the world since high school.

What do you miss most about LCHS? The uniqueness of our situation as teenagers. Living away from home in the 10th and 11th grade and going through those times with other people in the same situation no matter what their color or gender was is something I'll never forget.

What was the best part of attending LCHS? Living in a dorm and away from home during the week and meeting people from all parts of the world.

Why do you think we have such a unique bond? I think it's due to the fact that we are all "cold war generation" kids from all parts of the world having to live wherever our mothers and fathers were sent and then being sent to a high school in a foreign country with the majority of us living there either 5 or 7 days. It doesn't get much more unique than that!

What was your favorite class? History

Favorite Teacher? Ms. Parrott (HA)

Do you have a favorite memory? Here are a few...the bus rides to and from Greenham Common on Mondays and Fridays...the dominant track teams LCHS had during that time...hanging out at the AYA and in the dorm...junior prom in London.

Anything else you want to share? As life goes on and I tell people about my high school experience, people still have a hard time grasping what it must have been like to attend high school like we did. I regret not getting back over to High Wycombe to visit the school again before it closed!
